The classwork and homework for the week are posted below. Please note, in-class assignments may not be posted in the hotline and all assigments are subject to change.

Awards: Thursday at 11:10 A.M.
The second semester awards ceremony will be Thursday at 11:10 A.M. Every student will receive at least one award. Please plan on attending the awards ceremony on Thursday.
Report Cards
Report cards for the second semester will be distributed on Thursday, June 17th.
All textbooks and library books must be returned to receive a report card.
Letter to Future Selves: Wednesday
The last assignment of the year is to write a letter to your future self. I will mail the letters in five years, in May 2015. The students will write the letters in class during the last week of school. The students need to bring a self-addressed envelope with two stamps, since postage will most likely increase in five years, unless the students use a “Forever” stamp. The return address should be a relative’s address that is unlikely to move, in case your family moves sometime in the next five years.
Potential Field Trip to Sugarloaf Park
We may join the 2nd and 3rd graders for a Barbeque at Sugarloaf Park on Thursday.
Permission slips will be sent home if we are able to attend.
Free Books
I will hand out my collection of children’s books to the students on Wednesday.
